It pains me that nobody challenged the methodology behind my “never before seen on the internet” assertion. Obviously I *found* the image on the internet but it was hidden in a strange javascript flipboard display wrapper that Google isn’t indexing. And beyond that, what I did was check every reverse search index I know, getting negative results everywhere. Obviously it might have appeared in the past on pages long lost, but if a tree fell in the woods and all the people who remember hearing it fall are dead, does that really count?
