Tsk, tsk, attributions for these hard-working artists please! These illustrations may be by a woman. Jeanne de Montbaston took over as bookseller (libraire) from her husband Richart on his death. The full book can be found at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France website: http://gallica....0369q and can be downloaded. There are self portraits of the artists on page LXXVIIv on the website or 162 if you download it. One penis tree is on page 220, the other on 327.
Unfortunately, the description in the Google Books version of Image on the Edge: Margins in Medieval Art by Michael Camille is incomplete but fascinating.

To my way of thinking, it makes more (intuitive), sense that a woman would have conceived these particular illustrations.
Personally, as I age, I’m beginning to wish sometimes that these things did indeed, “grow on trees”, but alas…
