A Piddly Little Shunga Artwork
Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that the notion of “Japanese porn” only earned its current richly-aromatic reputation after World War II. The shunga erotic artwork tradition included tentacle sex before 1850, and as for other fetishes? Well, I don’t have a date for you, but this peeing closeup shunga (via Pissing Blog) is of no recent vintage:

By style and colors used, I’d bet it’s 19th Century – but like most shunga it doesn’t have much in the way of markers of a publisher, artist or anything.
The text looks like a title to me (but it takes a real expert to decipher Edo-period writing on woodblock prints). My guess is this might be part of a series of visual puns comparing anatomical features or sex acts to landscape features or celebrated views – this one being a waterfall, obviously.
