Equality For Women? It’s Bad For Pickup Artists
This is old news, but new to me: apparently one of the notorious PUAs (pickup artists) from five years ago went to Denmark (hoping to write a PUA travel book about the place) and discovered that his “game” shit didn’t work there, apparently because Danish women don’t have the degree of economic dependence on men that he was used to. Or, as Katie J.M. Baker put it in Cockblocked by Redistribution: A Pick-up Artist in Denmark:
Marginalized women who need male spouses to flourish might, indeed, find pick-up artists alluring. But women in countries that have gender-equalizing policies supported by an anti-individualist culture may not.
Shucky-darn, I say!

Oh dear, does that mean I’ll have to offer interesting conversation, some depth of personality and possibly be willing to go to dance classes on a regular basis to attract women? However shall I survive. This is torture, someone inform the UN!
I know, right?
This falls right in line with an article I read not too long ago that reported that women had more, and better sex, under socialist / communist rule in Europe in former Eastern Bloc countries – because they had more equal incomes and employment opportunities with men.
Falbert, there was actually antire book to that effect that was being quoted and reviewed around social media recently; perhaps you saw some of that media. I didn’t Google or reference it for this post because its citation to the Dissent Magazine article was hyperbolic and inaccurate, or at least seemed so to me.
