Back in the day, when people went bareback riding they really knew how to commit:
These bareback nude riders are from an illustration in Jugend #3 (1896). The caption reads “Bitte, nimm mit mich!” which means something like “Please, take me with you!”

The artist appears to be Fidus, Hugo Reinhold Karl Johann Höppener. A naturist when young. His art inspired the style of the Psychedelic art of the 1960s as seen in San Francisco gig posters. His enthusiasm for the Nazi Party was not reciprocated.
