Fire Hose For Five
I can’t quite figure out the erotic scenario here. The ladies have too many expensive items of clothing on for this to be a force-washing situation. So why are they being hosed down? Is this how one breaks up a catfight in the girl’s dorm at a posh educational institution? It’s just not clear:
I feel as if I ought to recognize both the art style and the “E.K.” signature, but I can’t put my finger on either one. Help?

I’d say they’re at a health spa & thy’re getting the cold water treatment.
From the looks of it the female holding the hose is a maid (she looks like she’s wearing a maid’s cap) so no coercion I would think. One would think, however, that the stockings would be removed as they would he no bearing on modesty.
I can’t explain the E.K., unless it was a pseudonym. The only famous “pornographer” that I know of by those initials was the photographer Eric Kroll, whom I don’t believe made illustrations. It reminds me a bit of Wighead and Bernard Montorgueil
I’m fairly sure it’s not Montogueil (I have a big post about him in my draft folders that still needs a bit of work). Wighead looks very possible. The E.K. could be a red herring — it might even be a modern watermark designed to look like a signature.
This is a book-illustration by E. Klem: Jim Galding, “L’éducatrice passionnée”, Paris, éd. D’Antin 1937. It is difficult to find more information on the artist.
