She Makes The Word “Squat” Seem Sexy
There’s really nothing about the word “squat” that’s sexy. It’s not at all euphonious, and it has too much association, I think, with that long and squalid era of human history before we invented the concept of the toilet seat. That said, I think perhaps Valentina Paradis is trying to reclaim the whole notion of squatting:
Finally, and I make this observation with the same respect I would afford any athlete: does it not seem from her stance in this photo that her daily workout regimen might perhaps revolve (quite literally) around a shiny metal pole?

Are power squats in stiletto heels a separate event?
Not for me she doesn’t.
Look at the expression on her face. She’s definitely just squatting.
No poetry in YOUR soul I guess! ;-)
I just started pole classes. How the hell anyone manages half of this stuff, let alone in towering heels and not much else, is waaaaaay beyond my comprehension. I have a lot of respect for pole dancers, it’s damned hard work!
Apologies Mr B. She is fine and strong and athletic. And yes, Thorn, I respect anyone who does that too.
In fact I am a big supporter of squatters rights.
