Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
Brrr….

Do you know how nice it is to read a sex blog that is written by a literate man? I am dutifully impressed….and that is one of my favorite blogs to read….
Thanks, Elissa! Although I can’t claim much credit for literacy, considering that the poem is in every ninth grade English textbook.
oh how i LOVE lisa’s blog. i was wondering when you’d get around to posting about it. :)
Sorry to report I had to delete another “sick” comment. Grrrr.
Some people just do not have enough things to do with their time. I don’t really get it….do they think that their lowly opinion is going to change minds?….ugh….I hardly ever get comments…though I did get comments about my S/m pics posted on my site….someone told me that “those aren’t cute, why do you post such gross things”….I mostly just laugh….though I can understand if it happens more than occasionally how that could be irritating…
DUDE! Why must you do that to all the songs that my school’s choir sings…..you already did that to The Gift to be Simple and it makes it difficult for me to explain to people why I’m always laughing when they sing it……
Elissa, it is irritating, but if that was all it was, I’d ignore the condemnatory comments but leave them up. Trouble is, ErosBlog has a firm editorial policy against condemning anybody’s kink. (There are some things I think are sick, but I keep my mouth shut about ’em.) I’m discovering I’m not willing to abandon that policy for the entertainment of random trolls.
However, I’m considering adopting the hilarious proceedure pioneered over at Making Light, where the posts of trolls (and sometimes, if Teresa’s having a grumpy day, other tendentious people of insufficient wit) are simply divested of all vowels. It’s a bit of work, but appears to yield amusement sufficient unto the effort.
who’s woods these are I think I know
his house is in the village though
he will not see me stopping here
to write my name in yellow snow
sorry bout that.
Pancho, don’t apologize! I’m laughing so hard I can hardly type.
nice chuckle this morning….thanks Pancho..
re: 9th grade lit boox
Given the extent to which at least the public school curriculum has been dumbed down and the consequent moron production ensuing, I think it unlikely that such a poem would even appear in contemporary texts, much less be appreciated or even understood by more than a tiny fraction of the student body.

he will not see me stopping here
to watch me piss out last night’s beer…
